Hello! My name is Shannon, and I’m a caring and reliable pet sitter in Valrico with a lifelong love for animals. I’m a college student living in the Brandon, Valrico, and Lithia areas, where I’ve spent the past decade surrounded by pets. My own family includes three wonderful dogs—Fred, Lily, and Brisket—and two adorable cats, one of which is my personal companion, Eiji. I enjoy walking each dog individually to match their unique energy levels and personalities, and I always make time for snuggles and play, especially with Lily and Eiji who love hanging out in my room.
As a pet sitter in Valrico, I bring both personal and hands-on volunteer experience to every visit. I’ve cared for a wide variety of animals at home, but I’ve also volunteered at a horse camp with horses, goats, ducks, chickens, and even hedgehogs—helping to clean enclosures and care for the animals. At a veterinary clinic, I gained more hands-on skills bathing dogs, walking them, and cleaning kennels. I also volunteered with Rescue Pets of Florida at Petsmart, where I helped with feeding, cleaning, and comforting cats awaiting adoption.
